Over the past years, Austria has built up a reputation as a host country for international handball events at European level: with the 1997 European Youth Championship, the 2006 European Junior Championships, and last but not least with the holding of the 2010 Men European Championships.This experience will also help us in the upcoming major event of the 2012 European Youth Championships for the generation 1994 and younger.
With the venues of Bregenz and Hard, it is not only possible to hold the European Youth Championships within short distances, but Vorarlberg's handball euphoria will also make this an unforgettable event for everyone involved. Preparations are already in full swing, and we very much look forward to the day of the opening
We are happy to once again be host to the European handball family and to welcome the young players from July 12 – 22 July 2012 in Austria.
