Still waiting for Mares passport

Dear Handball - friends,

the next 4-Nations tournament, the Samsung Cup in Vienna, came to an end. Apart from a few injured players Mare Hojc has still to wait for his naturalization. Unfortunately, I was not able to play due to my muscle injury, but I have been in Vienna on the spot and could watch the team from outside. With the victory against Hungary, we can be very satisfied. In the other two games against Norway and Tunisia, we simply could not use the big points.

The naturalization of Mare Hojc still lasts. He should have received an Austrian passport last year, but unfortunately all naturalizations were stopped at the moment and thus he still hast to wait. Remarkably, however, how he handles this situation. He makes all the training courses and waits patiently until his first match for Austria, though his passport was promised long ago. He will definitely be a big support for us.

I hope for him and for us, that the wait is coming to an end.

See you soon,
Conny
